Big Soul Project sings as One Voice in TEMBO fundraiser

Big Soul Project performed a concert at Southminster United Church as a fundraiser in support of TEMBO (Tanzania Education and Micro-Business Opportunity).

From ‘0’ to $15,000 in 15 Minutes for the Ottawa Food Bank

$14,830 - to be exact. In December, those attending the two Big Soul Project Christmas Concerts raised an amazing $7,415 for the Ottawa Food Bank! It took only 15 minutes to collect this amount during our two performances. On top of this, a very generous anonymous donor didn’t hesitate to match it. Big Soul Project presented a cheque for $14,830 to the Ottawa Food Bank just before the holidays. Each dollar donated generates $5 of buying power. Therefore, the total donated translates into $75,000 of food purchases for the Food Bank – pretty amazing! As our concert patrons, BSP is deeply appreciative of your annual support of the Ottawa Food Bank’s mission, to “help people get beyond hunger.”  Ottawa – your generosity is bountiful! Thank you!
